(Translation) The Great Lord of the East (the sun) rises. In front of the Lord of the East, the flowers of the red cedar and the Japanese cedar are in full bloom in white and red, so I want to pick and give them to you.
The restaurant "Akagi" overlooks a large Bishopwood in the garden. We are delighted to offer a unique culinary experience to our guests, inspired by the beautiful flowers mentioned in a Ryukyuan poem.

Lunch is an Okinawa soba gozen, a meal that highlights Okinawan ingredients. The menu changes daily, featuring seasonal ingredients that are purchased fresh each day.
Kids' plates are available for 880 yen.

Story of Palm
I was walking around looking for ingredients for “what I wanted to cook.” It was a moment when I once again discovered my self-centered arrogance as a cook.
Ingredients on the island are limited, which makes it all the more exciting when you find what you're looking for. Bitter melon is bitter, and Okinawan fish is delightfully tropical.
That is why, one by one, I held a handful of naughty Okinawan ingredients in the palm of my hand and asked.
“How do you make it taste good?”
From there, a new and thrilling journey with the island's ingredients began. I have learned that Okinawan ingredients with strong personalities can bring out unexpected flavors if you listen carefully and continue a journey with your soul.
Then, I serve these naughty unique Okinawan ingredients on beautiful, simple yet stylish ceramics plates that I picked out at "Yachimun-no-sato". The guests' faces light up with joy as they see the beautiful plates, adding an extra touch of excitement to the evening. At Dining Akagi in beautiful island Zamami, we are excited about each and every dish we serve, and we hope that each and every dish will make our customers say, "Delicious!
